| What is this
Indicator? This indicator measures the number of
passenger trips per hour by vehicle type and type of service.
Total number of passengers divinded by the toal number of revenue
hours. This indicator reflects demand
response riders only. |
| Why this is
important? Statistics such as passengers
per hour measure service effectiveness. This is a
measure of how well the transit system is scheduling/grouping its
trips. The measure provides a general indication of the
extent to which the fleet is being adequately utilized in terms of
frequency of trips by vehicle type. |
